You are not the worst thing that has happened to you.
This is the thing I always want to tell you all when I get your emails, voicemails, DMs, texts. It was the thing I most needed to hear in my worst moments, and the thing I have to remind myself even now in times when the Adderall wears off or when I find myself stuck in a rut.
Most of the texts I get are from my fellow millenials or people in the darkest nights of their grief, but every once and a while, I get one from a different generation that I can’t not respond to.
