Out of curiosity, do you do something specific with your brick so you aren't tempted to unbrick your phone? (i.e., leave it in another physical location when you travel or give it to another person) I worry I'd just be tempted to unbrick it, just like I sometimes ignore the time limit warnings.

Another fantasy book rec that has been around awhile is the Sookie Stackhouse series that HBO's show True Blood was based on. It's set in modern day Louisiana but there are vampires, werewolves and other "magical" beings that coexist in the real world.
